Hmm... I wasn't banned and I modded my avatar, modded my gamerscore from like 13K to 84K and modded to 10th Prestige, but my friend who didn't do any of that was banned??? Microsoft is just stupid sometimes.

Also if you're account was permabanned just do that glitch on the xbox website where you sign into the banned account and press the back button like really fast in google chrome and somehow you can change you bio and put in bad words and then they'll ban you again for two days

Havn't got banned yet pulled my gt as soon as i figured out about the ban wave. And i don't have anything bad in my profile anymore.

Not been banned and took my GT away atm aswell, done some modding ages ago, just some GS about 30K, and that's about it. Also i'm 11th on COD4...But hopefully nothing should happen.

They won't ban you for modded gamerscore. They will reset you and put your zone to cheater, and you won't be able to earn anymore achievments on the games you owe so you will have to get some new games.
