This tut is going to be showing you how to make whats called a PMT probe. A pmt probe is what you use to extract the dvd key from a liteon xbox dvd drive. You need the dvd key to flash the xbox.What you will make will allow you to exract that key without having to spend $30+.
MATERIALS
solder gun(some soldering experiance)
a xbox dvd drive power cable(white with black strings)use a spare
some wire(from a headphone or something old)
a switch($3 at radioshack,you could also try to make one)

STEP 1
look at the white part of your dvd drive power cable. there are 2 little bumps on top of it
