Hey, I'm going to buy a falcon JTAG, but I want to know how to maximise the lifetime of it without a reflow/reball. What "add-ons" would you recommend? E.G 12V fan mod etc.. if I even need any thanks in advance.

Falcons are generally good jtags anyway but definately get:

12v Fan Mod
Exterior fan over the CPU Heatsink

You should be good with that

For my Falcon I have a 12v Fan Mod and a 80mm exterior fan over the cpu

Thanks for your reply. I was considering the above anyway but instead of a 80 a 120 - I literally just want the JTAG to last as long as physically possible. Ignoring the possibilities of a bad flash etc.

Rip out the DVD Drive and put an xFan system in it's place. Kept my Xenon going for well over a year until i sold it.

i personally would do the 12v fan mod on any xbox and also a good idea would be some core coolers. there available at many modding websites. ghostcases.com
