*****************Risks*****************
1. VOIDS YOUR WARRANTY FOR MOST CARRIERS!
- Most carriers do not allow rooting due to the fact it unlocks features they want extra money for.
- Most devices can be unrooted, check with the root method you use before you root.
2. Can cause bugs or force close.
- Depending on the rom you use or the overclock you put on your phone it could cause bugs.
- Bugs such as lag, apps not working, device rebooting, certain features not working.
- Force close is when an app is not able to work with the rom.
- Example: If an app needs gingerbread(2.3.4) and you have froyo(2.2).
3. Most known custom roms will not cause these issues. Only use trusted custom roms to avoid this problem.
- These risks are not major but they are there so I figured I would mention them.

shadiestyeoj, If I were to install a custom rom on the droid X2, would it delete all the contacts?
Note: I have titanium backup installed and everything is backed up, does it include contacts?
