4th Gen White. It has a camera while 3rd Gen doesn't and you can't update it anymore i think.

You guys are all saying that 4th gen, obviously its better, but he's asking because its also about the price. If your just going for music, a few movies and game shere and there, always go for the 3rd gen. Not as good a screen and no camera, its not worth the extra money for a 4th gen. If your a hardcore iPod fan using it all day watching movies, playing games, and using facetime, go with the 4th gen. It has an incredible screen.

get the best you can afford
if you get a cheaper one you can get more stuff with it
i use a 2g and works fine

I would get the 4G and a white one. The white looks badass. My black one is boring. I wish I had a white one.

4G 32gb is what you should get.
