Battle field 3 has been nominated as one of the best online multiplayer games in the world. so basically you should know to get live to play online. But for the people who dont have live the multiplayer isnt at all that fun. To start you cant even play multiplayer so if you dont have live throw that multiplayer co-op disc in the trash because you wont be needing it. Me personally wouldnt have bought the game if I didnt have xbox live because the only thing you can do without live is play the campaign, which isnt very hard to complete. So if you think battlefield 3 looks totally amazing! but if you dont have xbox live dont buy it, unless ofcourse your into playing maybe i dont know 10 or 12 missions over and over again. Without xbox live or a ps3 to play online with, it sucks, period.

2 discs or 7 discs, if you dont have live, you're not going to be playing multiplayer anyway....

Am the only one who liked campaign ?
I Loved the campaign alot and would buy the game seperatly for just the campaign.

i loved the campaign, i didnt find it the slightest bit boring as most people did.
had a good story to it too!

That's exactly what I was thinking...his review pretty much says that if you don't have xbox live, don't buy any games...so don't buy an xbox unless you want an extremely heavy paperweight. Pointless review imo.

Have you tried it on hard?
Also the simple solution to your problem:
1. Be Christmas.
2. You haz $50
3. You be in store.
4. You ask for 12 month membership
5. You be in your house
6. You enter code.
