For the love of god, PLEASE do a few several (simple) things more...
- Drop ammo / health kits. You don't have to unlock these anymore. I can see them on your f@#king backs, so I know you've got them in your loadout. Hit right on your D-pads and forget about it. If you have a teammate following you like a puppy and shooting you repeatedly, and you can hear an in-game character voice spamming "I need ammo!" "Get me some ammo!" or something similar, guess what your teammie wants?
- Spot enemies. Or, at the very least, please spot that tank sitting in our base. If you are playing recon, please take it as part of your job to RECON the enemy force and spot guys before you start meditating on them through your scope.
- Squad leaders: mark objectives for attack / defense. If you spot the objective, it will mark it for your squad. Any kills near a marked objective generate an extra 20 points for the person doing the killing, and also a bonus 20 points for the squad leader who marked it.
- Leave the Amtrac ALONE if it is sitting somewhere quietly on the enemy flanks. Chances are high that one of your team mates carefully and painstakingly positioned it there in order to provide your entire team with a mobile spawn far closer to the enemy than the default spawning point. APCs are well armored, it's true, but they are often a very high priority target for enemy anti-vehicle. I can't stress this enough: the Amtrac is not a jeep for you to get around in alone, and it is not a tank for you to barrel headlong into the enemy base chasing kills.
- Fill the vehicles! Not having half of your vehicles in operation commonly cripples a team. Especially your tanks. If you see an empty tank at the back of your spawn, do the responsible thing: hop in and shell the crap out of the enemy. On certain maps, it is even possible for the enemy to enter your spawn and steal your vehicles. The only thing worse than being slaughtered by an enemy tank driver is being slaughtered by an enemy tank driver who is using YOUR TEAM'S tank.
So there are five easy - and profitable - requests to fulfill. It's to your benefit, as well as your team's, that you at least make a cursory effort to follow through with them. You will find that your team puts up a better fight, and that everyone gets more points, if you keep these things in mind while you play.
