i wish religion would disappear..it's pointless..
just **** wish that everyone could accept that we're here and stop trying to figure out "what's our purpose" and shit like that.
religion was invented as a way of population control, to brainwash the common people and make them behave, just as santa claus was invented to control minds of children and make them behave.

A few things,

1. the crusades were to protect the papacy from the moors ( Islamic militant tribes ) who were threatening the papacy. Back then the papacy was an actual country, in the area of Italy. Frankish leaders time and time again came to dispose of the offenders. JUST because they were Christian and the moors were islamic doesnt mean it was caused by religion. The papacy made it in to a " Holy War " To inspire people to help out! It was just like any other military conflict.

2. Child molestation. Ok some priests molested kids, now do you know how many people are molested EVRY DAY? A lot. Its no different when an athiest molests someone from when a christian does.

3. Why don't you people just chill? honestly. big whoop theres a group of people who believe in another life after this. Cry about it. If I am wrong, i die, there nothing but black emptyness. And i wasted every sunday learning good morals and how to live my life better. Whoopie. now if YOUR wrong you die and go to an eternal place of tourment and damn. Whats the old saying? " better safe than sorry" is it?


Now i understand about islam. a bunch of wack jobs that think its okay to run into a building with a bunch of childeren and blow themselves up. Not okay. But people like Christians, Jews, Hindus, Monks, dont do anything but defend themselves and try to bring people to God. Whats so bad about that?

Yes it even says in the Bible to show others the spirit of Jesus Christ inside of you, but to not cram the religion down someone's throat.

I am not Catholic, I am a nondenominational Christian (not part of a specific branch of Christianity) and basically my religion says that whatever is put in the Bible, is God's word. Not all this stuff about the Pope and Confirmation and how guys can only be pastors and can only be married to God. (which has been proven false by the way.)

I believe in God, but dislike when people use it in random situations and start preaching. I also hate when atheist bash religion. Just chill out and let people believe what they want. You're intiltled to your own opinion. As am I. I also agree with the guy who talked about the crusades and molestation. And as for proof, what proof is there that god doesn't exist? The big bang as no proof and a lot of people believe in it. (I personally believe god created the big bang.

Yes, I believe in god. But at least I don't go around telling everyone about him and that they should go and if they don't they're going to hell or something like that. Let them be. There is ALWAYS that group of kids at school that do that and it offends A LOT of people.
