Robert Bowling has replied to a few twitter responses about the situation on the prestige token glitch, and he is saying that the employees can pull stats from players and determine whether they did the glitch or not, and also saying if you are guilty then you will receive a ban, and a reset.

The real truth

Robert Bowling has only replied to these, in a way for the community to get scared and not to do the glitch. There has been a few cases, where, gamers have been temp banned / perm banned but these properly occurred, due to serious boosting or hacking and exploiting the game. With the new patch releasing after new year it will only patch the glitch but it will not ban gamers unless you over done it.

What happens if I do get banned / reset?

When you get caught for boosting or hacking depending on the situation you will most likely get a 48 hour ban from the MW3 servers, or more time added depending on the situation. When you get reset it basically means that everything get's reset except these:

1. Perks
2. Weapons and Camos
3. Losses
4. Deaths
5. Titles & Emblems


So if you do get reset you don't have to worry you'll be back to your rank in no time ;)
