-Found- wrote Its all about how their parents raise them. If they buy them everything when they are little, then it will like that when they are older. And if their parents still buy them everything then they will take advantage of their parent.
So it all leads back to their parents and how the treated them when they were babies or infants.
I'm sorry but you can't just blame their parents. Kids need to learn themselves that they cannot get whatever they want, it's a key aspect for their future...

I donated 500.00$ worth of clothes to GoodWill instead of presents well i got 1 which im completely cool with. Just cause our parents spoil us doesn't mean we all turn out ungreatful bitches.

agree with you %100 and parents should be stricter aswell and tell them that they can't afford it.
I agree people need to cut down on presents, it's about you and your family anyway not presents.

-Tommy wrote I agree with you.
I just think "look at africa, there parents cannot afford food, so be bloody grateful for what you have."
Africa only has problems like this because they all think it's ok to have 20 children.

I agree because when I was little and didn't get everything I wanted I would flip out and start yelling. I know it had to do with my parents would always buy me stuff without asking, so I expected stuff. Now that I'm older I realized how stupid that was and there is no reason to cry over not getting enough presents for Christmas

It isn't the kids fault its the parents that make them like that, if you give a kid a present and its not what they expected it is because they are used to getting stuff that is like $300, its kinda sad to see but you can only blame the parents for making them like that.
Once they hit the age of 18-20 they will either grow up or stay the same, if they don't grow up then it is there own fault.

Blowing wrote i feel exactly the same. These days, if someone doesn't get $1,000 worth of presents, they're poor. People need to get their heads out of their **** and grow up. I only got 1 present and i'm happy with that. I don't care if my parents don't get a lot of things for me. As long as they get me ANYTHING, no matter the price, i'm happy with that. It's the thought that counts.
I agree completely! Makes me happy to see there are people like you here
