They do hurt because you can't open your mouth all the way, but if you keep wearing them then you mouth will adjust and the pain will go away, just don't eat with them in, won't work.

My bands keep snapping, and there the strongest ones, and no, I'm not chuck Norris in disguise.

No, only thing that hurts is when you get them tightened. That's hell. Bands are just hard to remember. I always forgot them. Had them for like 3 years, just remember, and they can be off in under a year.

@Mike, I don't know why they do that. Ask them? Never happened to me.

I got mine off in september now I got retainers

Suposted to have gotten mine off about 3 months ago....**** the bands.. -_- hurt so bad.

Yea, that happened to me to....than my dad cut the wire with "wire cutters"
