ok first off your sony vegas is gonna lag alot happened to me on my ex pc if your thing is going unresponisive then close down everything else running if it still goes unresponosove then your pc cant handle it at all need a new one

Try getting Adobe After Effects!

I had the same problem when I tried to use Sony Vegas 11 then again when I used 10. Sony Vegas 9 works perfect for me now. Downgrade your Sony Vegas down a version or 2 it worked for me ! Hope this helps.

This happened to me alot so I changed my software to adobe after effects and it worked fine .it's brilliant
If I was u change ur software to be on the safe side

Heres a few things to try:

#1: Make sure you have the newest update for your computer
#2: If your problem is clips just lagging make sure your storage device is emptied out, too much useless data could be corrupting your files to save space
#3: If you can, go to "Edit" and "Finalize" your clips to get rid of lagging clips.
