Basically my brother bought himself a 1200 msp code and rubbed the silver cover so hard it rubbed all the digits away so the code isn't even slightly visible.
What should we do?
Is it worth attempting to get it changed at a shop or are we just completely screwed.
There are about 7 digits missing so guessing isn't an option.
EDIT: The shop replaced it, thanks for the help guys.

i would phone Microsoft and ask them for assistance. they're your best bet here.
or if you have ALOT of spare timetry as well as you can to make out the digits until you get it right.

I wouldn't keep typing in the code over and over again. That comes under marketplace theft and will result in permanent ban.

i should call microsoft and tell them what happend but if the digits are barely visible just try to redeem
