DefuseModz wrote i get stuck on "waiting for reboot" tried it several times
Quite a few people are having this problem. I dont see whats causing it as on the other hand many people say this works fine. Im looking into it and trying to find the sollution.
Some people have said they fixed it by downloading the IPSW and clicking select ipsw in redsnow. However i cant confirm this as the error hasnt happened to my redsnow yet.

Sorry for the somewhat newby question but if I jailbreak my iOS 5.0.1 updated iPhone 4 will I be able to call and etc. Basically, will I lose any features? Thanks
EDIT: I apologize in advance if this has already been asked.

Gel wroteBritePinkTaco wroteGel wroteBritePinkTaco wrote hey man well i figured this would work so i updated to 5.0.1 from 5.0 and now it is stuck at the Uploading first stage Screen. any help?
Your device has kicked itself out of DFU mode
Restore your device in iTunes
Then when jailbreaking again, make sure to hold the home button for longer on the last step of DFU
For example when it starts jailbreaking after the DFU instructions hold the home button for 2-3 more seconds
If that doesn't work you might have to download the ipsw
But get back to me with that first
I have Done That and it does the same thing.. i got the ipsw and went to extras and selected it but still nothing it keeps stopping at First stage...
What device do you have and are you definetly on ios 5.0.1
i have a iPod 3rd gen 64 GB and i'm positive its on 5.0.1

Did it turn on eventually though?
Also it may take a little longer than usual due to the jailbreak
