Lulz, totally missed that. I meant headphones. I've had to replace the plugs on half of my headphones too.

Beats don't suck try are just pricy for what their are worth....xD

The difference is the cords that come with the Beats headphones are 3.5mm male to male detachable cables. Having these wear out on their own is simply unusual.

Why? They're still cables. The fact that they're detachable doesn't make them impervious to stress and inevitably, losing of connection due to a solder joint failing or the wearing out of wire.

Compared to something like an Ultrasone or a Denon, but compared to some Skullcandies, they're pretty good. It all depends on the frame of reference. If you go from the Skullcandies that are mediocre, then Beats will be an upgrade (but Solos would be a downgrade). If you've actually listened to good gear, then the Beats will sound pretty crappy.

Beats are just for style, they don't even have that great of bass, that is if you don't get the studios.
