the internet light goes out on my modem/router it happens every 3 or so hours it disconnects everything for 5 mins. help plz

it's not your router. It's your internet company maybe there under maintenance. to find out phone them up.

reconfigure your settings or click the reset button on the back of your router/gateway

Like the guy said above + i used to have this problem until i found out i accidently changed the settings for my router sort of like a power save thing. try looking at your router settings

unplug everything from your router shut it off wait 10 min put it back in turn it on

iv tried it dosent work, sometimes it blockes everything an i have to unplug it

probably your cable from modem to router. it is old? it will basically turn it on off lag wise

could be lag spikes. Mine does that alot.
