8G? overkill but it's good.

You could maybe upgrade the graphics card but that's all.

8GB is NOT overkill.
24GB is overkill IMO.
8GB is really good for gaming.

I have 16 GB. Anything over 4 GB will game fine as long as your CPU and graphics card can handle the game. So it is probably a little overkill. You probably only got that much ram so you could say you have 8GB of ram. Also you don't know your processor speed or motherboard. You probably don't know what a PCI-E card is...... so therefore I highly doubt you need anywhere near 8 GB of ram.

Seems good. I have 8GB. More ram = fast rendering times. It also helps with games so dont worry, IMO you didn't over kill on that.

Processor is a good choice.

Video card could have been upgraded ALOT despite the fact you went with the Core i7 2600. I see a potentional bottleneck >__<;

and 2 TB is more than enough room

Other wise it seems like an awesome build and I'd really like to see pictures if you get a chance.

The specs are good, but how about your graphics card? If you're using it for games, I would worry about that too
