It appears as if it was not. my computer has been acting crazy the last few days, do i have a virus or something worse? O.o

Couldn't you define crazy?
Try running a full virus scan and see it anything appears.

Well crazy as in, i have been getting blue screen from just opening the laptop (from standby). The FN button does not work for the brightness setting. and etc...
btw my laptop is a toshiba satellite L755

If you have a legitimate Windows disc, you can blank your computer - and start new.
That'll take care of ANY Problems you have, if they persist - then it's to do with hardware

I have a Toshiba Satellite C660, mine did the same if you still have your warranty i would consider taking it back.
