They should be ok.

I would go for the 6870, not that much more expensive.

And I wouldn't go with AMD, my personal experience with their processors is not good.

If you want to change it, go for a i5 2500k, but it is your choice.

I have an AMD Phenom 965, and it's swell for me. I recommend AMD processors.
As for OP; what you have is fine, but I would also recommend getting the 6870. That's what I have, it's wonders.

It's ok, but do you have enough wattage for a second card?

Because in the future a single 6850 is not enough for high settings gaming

I wouldnt really suggest going for intel. No-one notices but if you look at the specs compared to AMD you will notice Intel processors are very over-priced. The graphics card is the same with mine. I nearly have the same pc but i have phenom x4 and mine works fine so yours should too. When you get your pc type in google: Can i run it. If you are questioning whether you can play the game it will check your system and tell you whether you can run it fine.
