Okay so here we go. A few things you may not have known about Halo: Reach

1. Master Chief -->WILL<be> All of those can be seen in the picture at the bottom of this post.

2. Cortana will also be an unlockable voice for firefights announcer

3. If you pre order the legendary edition and get the flaming head you will be able to wear it during the campaign (but not in cut scenes)

4. After the launch of Reach more armors will become available for purchase (via credits or challenges)

5. The flaming Head isnt the only helmet armor effect. There will also be the "Birthday Party Confetti death Fountain", an electricity effect called "Inclement Weather" and one called "Pestilence"> All of those can be seen in the picture at the bottom of this post.

6. When you pre-order the game from gamestop you will get an extra piece of armor. This armor is a chest piece and thats all Bungie said. EDIT: After looking around I have found the chest piece and the helmet you get. (Gamestop only)

7. Although Elites do not have nearly as many armor customizations as the spartans they will have atleast over half a dozen different models that can be purchased ( credits )

8. Reach will have a new completely revamped forge. Accompying the new forge will come a map that is the size of over 5 maps in one. This mapp is called Forge World (Very original). You will be able to set "Return to Battle Field" barriers and "death barriers". You will also be able to phase objects into each other and will also be able to have them fixed. There is an option for moving it by by degrees and even being percise and moving objects by coordinates. (Video of Forge World Below)

9. In Halo: Reach there will be a number of avatar awards that give you 5 of the 6 noble team helmets. The remaining 1 will be given out to lucky people at Comicon, Pax, and Gamescon this summer.

10. A completly new vehicle makes its entrance onto Reach. This is the Forklift! Completly unpractical but still awesome. Everyone will be fighting over it when the games released :p

UPDATE:
11. its CONFIRMED by a Bungie employee that there will be a 25 digit key to enter for a flair unlockable in Halo Reach.

The 25 digit code is from your copy of Halo Combat Evolved for PC. If you didn't purchase Combat Evolved for computer, you cant get it. Bungie confirmed if you activated your key from 2003 until this May 2010 (tentative date, see link for details) your key should be valid for the flair. You can't just go buy the game today and use the key. Bungie has announced that the flair will be a small emblem assuming next to your name, that will indicate your dedication to the halo series. Its CONFIRMED it will not be available for purchase in the armory and it will not be an armor permutation. All you have to do to get this is have your key ready and played atleast 1 online multiplayer game (withen the last 7 years lulz)
