Guts were a total of about 1800 (getting a few new video cards soon)
Case is 130 (My dad owns a buisness so he gets discounts from tiger direct so it will be cheaper than that)
Intel Core i7-3960X Processor Extreme Edition (15M Cache, 3.30 GHz, 6 cores)
16GB DDR3 RAM (its the fastest ddr3 ram but i forgot waht that was lol)(Going to be 64 sooner or later)
And i will be getting 5 4 (got confused on the sli board) SLI compatible Video Cards (i have a board attatchment that allows me to run cords outside my case to attach 5 video cards to each other and they will run as though they were one)

its pretty decent
as for you graphics card idea you dont need that many ul only be wasting money as nothing will need that much power for atleast another year.

Lol 5 video cards. Of course. Even if it was possible, the cards/computers/operating systems/drivers don't support SLI up to 5. This means your last card wouldn't be used anyways.
Also, for the RAM you probably have the same like me ( 16GB 1600 MHz )
And for the processor, same as me. It is awesome believe me Much better than the 990x aswell ( had both )

5 way SLI isn't really possible.
Also there is no game that could benefit from all that power, and probably won't be until a good 3-4 years, so you are wasting your money.
So unless your making a film with loads of special effects like the movie Avatar, stick with 2 way SLI, two 580 GTX's should be fine.

No one is impressed by your fake build that has too much power to ever be used. Sorry.

If you are going to make something like that, you won't be using a gaming GPU.
You'll be using something like Quadro.

I don't really think you know much about what you're bullsh*tting about, seeing as there's no way in hell you'd have a 5-way SLI going on, because if you needed that much power, why not just use 2 Nvidia Quadro cards like warinvader said?
