Synopsis

You paid your dues in THUG. Now prove yourself in THUG 2. You've been chosen by Tony Hawk to take on Bam Margera as your teams go on a World Destruction Tour. It's time to go globetrotting on an insane road trip. THUG 2 grinds in with a hilarious story mode, an unprecedented level of customization, and more moves than the Skate Gods could dream of. Grab your board, an arsenal of spray-paint... jump into the tour van and wreak havoc across the globe.

Gameplay
THUG2 has a similar playstyle to the first game in the series(THUG). You skate around cities doing missions and different goals in order to progress further into the story mode. You go into different cities throughout the game, and have different types of missions. Most of the missions either require a certain object to be skated(or skated over) or for the player to get a certain amount of points. Points are given out when the skater does different tricks. Each trick has a certain point value, and the more tricks per combo the more points that combo is worth. A classic mode was also added to the game, in which the game reverts back to the old tony hawk games(pro skater, THPS) and loads up a classic level with similar old style missions. There are 10 missions on the map(rather small map) and the player is given 2 minutes to complete as many as possible. Each level requires a certain amount of missions to be done before you are allowed to move on to the next stage.

Soundtrack
Just like the first game, this game comes with an amazing sound track. You can choose which songs you would like to play in this game. I give the soundtrack a 9.5/10. I still listen to a ton of music all this years later. It's a huge list.


Multiplayer
The multiplayer in this game is quite similar to the first. Local only(except for ps2), with all the same game modes(Trick Attack, Scavenger Hunt, Score Challenge, Combo Mombo, Slap! , King of the Hill, Graffiti , Horse , Free Skate and Fire Fight.) It's a little disappointing that they didn't really work on multiplayer, but it's still fun for 2 players.

Overall Opinion
9/10
This is a great game. It has an awesome story mode full of mayhem and destruction. It provides a hilarious banter throughout the game, that is sure to entertain all! The story mode has funny missions that is sure to keep you playing! It's a great follow up to the first game, and doesn't disappoint. Classic mode offers a fun spin off of the olds games, which adds a lot more playing value to this game! I think this game is a must pick-up if you enjoyed the first, or any skating game in general.
