I've noticed that it doesn't really matter about your stats.
Its about how many people watch your videos daily, and how fast the views get on there.

Like if you posts a video, and you get 1,000 views within an hour, then a couple hundred views everyday for a while, thats what they notice. And your channel views(:

Not positive though, thats my own perspective(:
