well First of all I Would go to a store called "guns,guns,guns" and stock up on as much as possible by taking a semi truck and then go to a few grocery stores to scavenge what I can.Then next I would go to this Airport down the street from my house and clear it out.
Next I would move all The survivors in the area there.Next I would start building a giant wall around it and build up a community.And also I would go on daily runs to get supplies and look for survivors. And eventually I would go to an army base or something of that nature to get the stuff I need to set up machine gun nests and get tanks and stuff I need to start basically a Militia. and anyone i don't like will be feed to the zombies.

get friends family get weapons ammo then food build a wall use semi trucks to help as walls with heavy objects and barb wire stop crawling zombies when the place is secured have more people join in when there is enough food ammo and weapons but have a lot of security to help stop anarchy within the safe house

Take of those massive cargo ships max it outvwith like a year ofvsupllies it would have jets and helicopters on it constantly get fish from the sae when we need water we getnof the north pole!

**** Wal-Mart go to Sams Club Food It's twice the size so more food! Then I'd go Hit up the gun stores like you said. Then I'd go to a Body Shop 1 Garage door = Less Barracading you have to do. Now I'd have RPGs on the roof. Snipers on the middle floor and the Pusssies on the ground. Then I'd get Solar panels for power and Fix the old truck we found stranded outside for a way to go find some food and water for when we run out. Now tell me that plan isn't flawless?
