For Windows Laptops!

So windows can help identify what is causing your battery to run down quickly or just quicker than usual. To slow down the rate your battery lowers...

1.Open up an administrative command prompt by opening the start menu, typing CMD into search, then right clicking on the icon run as administrator

2.Enter the command "powercfg energy".
Windows will watch you system for 60 seconds, then generate a report of whats running your battery down(with recommendations on how to improve battery life).

You can find this report at c:/energy-report.html
