ok basiclly i got a new pc for my xmas andi cracked windows7 professional on it and i just got an update about 2 and a half hours ago so i installed it. know i had to restart it so i restrarted it likee 2 hours ago and it's know stuck at installing update 16/30. i know i shouldnt of have but i pressed the power off butten the one thats actually on the pc the one you use to turn on and the screen went off but the light are still on its like only the screen is off its so anouying becausse when i press the power on butten it comes on almost imediatly so the screen was just turned off but everything was running.
any help would be great please i'm not sure what to do with it

ive had this problem before. 1st pull out the pc power so it is definitely not switched on then turn it on and run it in safe mode. Restore the pc to a time when it was functional. Then update again and it should work fine.

don't worry some updates just take long especially with 70 of them means that its purely new

Just shut it down.
I've had mine installing 80+, I shut it down in the middle of it because I didn't want to wait.
When you turn it on it'll say Failed to install updates but you shouldn't lose anything.
