IDGAF if its the wrong section! Ok so i have an important essay on my laptop and its not turning on. Its a couple years old and its a dell studio laptop. My little dumbsh*t brother raged on my computer when it was on and pushed on the track pad. The computer shut off immediately but i saved the document before. The laptop wont turn on now and my sh*ts on it. It wont turn on with the battery charged. It slso wont turn on when the battery is out and charger in. What internal part could have been damaged under the track pad? How can i get the documents without it on? Can I? Please help!

You could remove the save device and put it into another laptop? besides that i dont really know sorry

internal part that got damaged was the mother board.
only thing i can do is recommend taking out the harddrive and putting into dif computer. i take it you have one since you posted on ttg

Take the battery out
Put in a different laptop
Charge for 2 hours
Put in broken laptop
Turn on

Just take out the HDD and out it in a diff computer and print out your essay
