My Thoughts About The Episode:
This episode of the Walking Dead series is fun and exciting to play as the first one. It's graphics may not be as awesome as the other games out there and the animations can sometimes be weird, but the story and gameplay is awesome and that's all that matters.

Synopsis According to Wiki
Gears of War is a military science fiction third-person shooter video game developed by Epic Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was initially released as an exclusive title for the Xbox 360 in November 2006 in North America, Australia, and most of Europe and included a "Limited Collector's Edition" with added content and an art book titled Destroyed Beauty that detailed much of the game's back-story. Despite the initial statements of Xbox 360 exclusivity, a Microsoft Windows version of the game was developed in conjunction with People Can Fly and released a year later, featuring new content including additional campaign levels, a new multiplayer game mode, and Games for Windows Live functionality.
The game focuses on the troops of Delta Squad as they fight a desperate, last-ditch attempt to save the remaining human inhabitants of the fictional planet Sera from a relentless and virtually unstoppable subterranean enemy known as the Locust Horde. The player assumes the role of Marcus Fenix (but can also play as Dominic Santiago), a former prisoner and war-hardened soldier. The game is based on the use of cover and strategic fire for the player to advance through the scenarios; a second player can play cooperatively through the main campaign to assist. The game also features several online multiplayer game modes for up to eight players.
Gears of War sold over three million copies in just ten weeks and was the fastest-selling video game of 2006 as well as the second-most played game over Xbox Live during 2007. It currently stands as the 5th best selling Xbox 360 game of all time. The game has since sold over five million copies by September 2008. The game was well received by critics, who praised its gameplay and detailed visuals, and it won several "Game of the Year" awards in 2006. The success of the game has led to the development of the Gears of War franchise, including the 2008 sequel Gears of War 2 and its follow-up, Gears of War 3, which was released on September 20, 2011, after having initially been set to have been released on April 5, 2011,[2] the date upon which Epic Games' Cliff Bleszinski was a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Adaptations to books, comics, as well as a feature film are to be expected.

Gameplay
Gears of war 1 has to be one of the greatest games released for the 360.It may be a very old game,But it still keeps me going back for more after almost 6 years. The guns are fairly balanced and you find people mainly using the Gnasher shotgun. There is some bugs Though. If you slide into cover you sometimes get stuck there for 15-30 seconds. The game modes on this game are great. There is Execution,Warzone,Assassination, and Annex.
Graphics
You guys Probably think a 2006 game would have terrible graphics right?

Sample game review: SSX (xbox 360 platform)
SSX is a game filled with fond childhood memories for any "veteran gamer" and provided hours of entertainment on past platforms, since then not much has been heard about the franchise until the recent release of its newest title simply named SSX the game features new and flashy 3d graphics in between loading screens accompanied by a clear and informative commentary which provides helpful tips and back story into the level you will be boarding on.
World Tour:
World tour is the main gametype that SSX features and is heavily storyline based, in world tour you play to try and beat a rival that left your team to join your rival team and without giving too much away you spend the world tour duration going around the world to various areas ( the Himalayas, Kilimanjaro and Alaska etc) playing as different characters playing towards the defeating your adversary. The game type features flashy introductions to each area with exaggerated 3D text and high resolution angles of the maps and terrain you will be facing, it's nice to see a game pull off 3D graphics along with good quality in game graphics. Each area has a specific item essential to your survival during the event. Items including flashlights, heat suits and oxygen tanks. This adds a element of survival and variety which nicely compliments the style and race aspect of the game.
Music:
The musical element of the game is really what makes the game an experience, EA have featured a music player much like the one used in FIFA titles, the music picked suits the game down to the ground and accompanies with in game sounds makes for a smooth game playing experienced whilst keeping you alert yet mellow while playing.
Credits:
The game is centred around credits and earning them, everything you do in the game will earn you credits be it beating a friends ghost record online or shredding up the competition in a world tour race. Credits are used to buy items such as wing suits, oxygen tanks and outfits for characters that you play throughout the world tour. EA have cleverly introduced the option to buy credit bundles from the marketplace which I feel is fair as it provides the player with an abundance of credits at a low price also the credit purchase is not forced on you and you can enjoy the game without it and still afford to buy items you want throughout your game time.
Geotags:
Geotags is a great new addition to SSX and allows players to leave credit stamps on maps that can be collected by other players, you yourself can also place Geotags and depending on the placement Geotags can be a great little credit earner. Geotags are purchased and equipped along with your gear and can be placed in tricky spots that riders will have to go out of their way to obtain, Geotags earn money based on how many players collect them and how much they are initially worth.
Characters:
Characters have always been a big part of SSX and provide the cheeky, fun and competitive nature to the game, I feel the system for them in this instalment is almost perfect, each character has a individual levelling system which allows you to practise and power level your preferred character through online challenges and such; each character has a speciality which will help you determine which character you want to concentrate on if that is your style. Each character level goes to 10 and every level has specific items tailor made to suit your chosen character for each level.
Online support:
Upon purchase you will be required to type in a online pass to unlock full functionaliuty of the game to prevent people buying second had copies (and to maximize profit margins) which is completely understandable and seeing as the game is so intuitive in terms of online play you can hardly complain.
The game has recently received a massive update adding two brand new game types to the game, the update is called update 3.0 and features a all new game type called 3-2-1-GO! In this game mode you will be able to compete in live races as opposed to ghost races and timed trials, you will be able to compete with 5 other players in your average trick it and race it events. The update has been well received and easily integrated which gives me faith in EA as this update is in my eyes worthy to maybe have been DLC.

A reccomended buy from me and a essential game for any old school gamer
Thank you for reading, i did this on a whim and decided that i should start being more active on here and since i have a flashed console this would be a easy thing for me to do whilst helping out potential game buyers in the future...im not doing this purely for the game reviewer title but to achieve that would be a great milestone in my TTG career 8)

Gameplay
I was rather intrigued by the cool and exotic cars, and once i started playing I was hooked. You can play as a cop and a racer, but not at the same time. As a cop, you can do specific runs, such as: Hot Pursuit, Interceptor, and Rapid Response. As a Racer, there are Hot Pursuits, Races, Duels, and Time Trials.
Singleplayer
Hot Pursuit - A Hot Pursuit is generally you busting racers in a race, and the more busts you get the more bounty you receive, which is like XP in the game.
Rapid Response - A Rapid Response is basically just a timed run of how fast you can get to point A to Point B. The faster the time, the more bounty you get.
Interceptor - An Interceptor challenge is a timed run and you must bust the racer as fast as possible. To bust a racer, you must total his/her car.
Hot Pursuit as Racer - Whilst doing a hot pursuit mission as a racer, you must complete the race without getting busted.
Race - Obviously, a race is a race. You must get to the finish line 1st for the most bounty.
Time Trial - Time Trials are like Rapid Responses, you just have to get to the finish as fast as possible.
Duel - A duel is a head to head race with the computer and you must fight to be the 1st to the finish for them most bounty
Previews - This is usually a short time trial that allows you to preview the nicer cars in the game.
Multiplayer
Hot Pursuit - Racers must get to the finish line to win. Cops need to stop them getting there.
Interceptor - One racer vs one cop in a head to head pursuit.
Race - Race the world's most exclusive cars to see who will be first to the finish line.
Most Wanted - Cops chase and bust the Most Wanted suspect before they get away. Racers help the Most Wanted to escape.
Arms Race - Do whatever it takes to win in the world's most exclusive supercars.
Weapons -
Both cops and racers are allowed to have weapons. Cops may have Aerial Support, Road Blocks, Spike Strips, and EMP's. Racers are allowed to have Jammer's, EMP's, and Spike Strips.
Graphics
The graphics for this game are actually realistic, except for when you crash your car, it just has exterior scratches and dings and the bumpers look like they are falling off, but other then that the developers have worked very hard to make the cars look as good as possible in a video game. The scenery is pretty nice too.
[Controls
The controls are really easy to pickup, I got the hang of it after my first few challenges. They're really simple, that's all I can say about that lol

Synopsis
Half a century after the Red Faction resistance freed Mars, the red planet again becomes a battleground. Colonists struggle for survival in the underground mines after the surface is rendered uninhabitable. When Darius Mason, grandson of revolution heroes Alec Mason and Samanya, unknowingly releases a long-dormant evil, Armageddon is unleashed on Mars. As settlements are torn asunder, only Darius and the Red Faction can save mankind. The battle will take them to the core of the storm-blasted planet through ice caves and lava flows until they are face to face against the unspeakable threat.
Story
The storyline ultimately for this Red Faction game was a bit of a let down. I enjoyed the previous instalment (Red Faction: Guerilla) with its interesting story about how Alec Mason freed the people of Mars (It was maybe a bit boring at parts). However, I felt the storyline for Armageddon could have been done better. At the start of the game you get thrown into the action rather quickly, without much explanation of the current events.
Your objective was to defend the Terraformer, a massive machine that gave Mars a habitable atmosphere for Humans. Of course though, something goes wrong and the enemy (Adam Hale) destroys the Terraformer, forcing the people of Mars deep underground and into caverns.
The main part of the story is then how Adam Hale tricks our protagonist - Darius Mason - into opening a hatch that releases a species of bug-like creatures which then proceed to attack everyone on Mars. Your mission - Stop the new alien species.
I felt the entire plot had a few errors in certain places, but I won't go into much detail.
Gameplay
This has got to be the main selling point of this game; the destructible environment.
Using an updated engine of the Red Faction Guerilla game (Geo-Mod 2.5), you can destroy virtually ANY man-made object, and use it to your advantage to help destroy your enemies.
You are helped in this effort by lots of futuristic weapons like a Singularity cannon (Black hole gun), a Magnet gun, which works by shooting at one thing (the target) and then shooting at another thing (The anchor). The 1st object then flys straight toward the second object.
If you accidentally destroy something important? Don't worry! With a heavily upgraded Nano-Forge from RF: Guerilla, you can now rebuild it with nanotechnology at the touch of a button!
However, the entire game as a whole feels a lot more linear than its predecessor, which allowed free roam, and because of this it feels like you have less freedom to do what you might wish to do.
There are 2 new game modes in RF: Armageddon; Infestation and Ruin mode.
Infestation is very similiar to Gears of Wars' Horde mode, where you fight off waves and waves of the alien creatures for as long as possible.
Ruin Mode is only available to those who buy a brand new copy of the game or by purchasing it over XBL. It is simply a mode where you destroy as much as possible, as quickly as possible.
This game is not a game you could replay over and over again, but mostly for those achievement hunters who can get some easy G.
Graphics
The cut-scenes of this game are well done with pretty good detail of facial structures and the surroundings, even the gameplay graphics aren't as bad as I expected but they are still no work of art, but the developers managed to cope quite well with the added destructibility of everything, managing to keep things ...stable looking.
Controls
The controls of this game are easy to master and require little knowledge, they are simply easy to use. Both On Foot controls and vehicles are no big feat, plus the different weapons are all explained how to use and the various effects that they may bring. The way you switch weapons I found a bit irritating as you have to use the D-pad, but this is just down to my preference, and does not affect your gaming experience.
Overall I would say this game benefited massively from its gameplay, but its story lacked depth and was rather short.

The way you switch weapons I found a bit irritating as you have to use the D-pad, but this is just down to my preference, and does not affect your gaming experience.
Overall I would say this game benefited massively from its gameplay, but its story lacked depth and was rather short.

Subway Surfers
---
Release Date: Updated: July 27th, 2012
Developers: Kilo Games & Sybo Games
Publishers: Kiloo
Platforms: All iOS and Android Devices
Genre: Action
Players: Single Player
Synopsis
---
First of all, Subway Surfers is the type of game that hooks you from the first tap on the screen. It's engaging, it's challenging and it's got real nice graphics. But what will probably catch most of you by surprise is the game play.
For those of you who have played Temple Run, Subway Surfers will look like a well done sequel. The controls are the same, some of the boosts and power-ups are pretty much the same and the goal is, as you probably know by now, the same.
The characters and background are, however, different. Because this time, instead of a bunch of weird devil monkeys chasing you, there's a train conductor. You're a kid who obviously has done something wrong and now is trying to escape the conductor, running from track to track, trying to avoid trains, barriers and other similar obstacles. The more coins you collect before you get hurt and the conductor catches you, the more achievements you unlock. Plus, just like in Temple Run, you can use the coins to buy all sorts of cool power-ups and upgrades.
Looks like the creators of Temple Run have done it again, right? Well, wrong. Because if you take a closer look at the app page, you'll soon realize that, in fact, Temple Run and Subway Surfers don't have the same creators. Now, I don't know if the company changed its name in the meantime or, indeed, the two games are made by different people. But one thing's for sure: Subway Surfers is as captivating as Temple Run, and you'll probably spend just as much time playing it.
Gameplay
---
As the synopsis said, i got hooked on this game just like I did temple run. This game gave it more of a better tone feel to it. What i mean by this, is that in temple run it was fun but not that interesting. In this game you are getting chased by a cop the whole time leaping over trains, blocks, rails, etc. The game overall is more entertaining in my opinion. The power ups i thhis game are also more interesting and fun to use. You are also traveling on a skateboard at some points in the game, so you are gliding back in forth. THere is no turning right or left in this game. You jsut go from side to side, and there are three saces in which you can fill. But, there is always something coming towards you, usually trains. The reason why the police is chasing you, is you have been doing graffiti on a wall in a train park. The gameplay in general is pretty smooth. There were some bug though. Most of them have gotten taken care of with the latest update that came out not long ago. I feel this game runs way smoother than Temple Run. I feel in Temple Run, some of the jumps were inpossible to make once you get into the really complicated levels of scoring. In this game, anything really is possible. There are power ups like you had in temple run.

Controls
---
The controls on this game are pretty simple. They are very easy to follow, and like Temple Run they have a tutorial at the beginning of the game if you need help. Basically on the controls from Temple Run, but you will no longer be turning. You will make slight turning in the game, but your guy does that for you. All you have to worry about is dodging and getting on top of things that might be in your way. If you have not played Temple Run, here are some simple controls for Subway Surfers.
Basic Controls;
Swipe Left: Take you left
Swipe Right: Takes you right
Swipe Up; You jump
Swipe Down: You do a roll
Very easy controls in my opinion. People should not have a problem with this at all.

Graphics
---
The Graphics in this game are very well done. The game is in HD quality so it has to be. It gives you the cartoon feel to it when you are playing, which is awesome. It reminds me of something that I would watch on T.V when I was a kid. They also made the detal on the trains and the sencery in general pretty good. I would have to say that it is kind of korny when you are on a jetpack or skateboard. Other than that, the graphics are pretty good.

My Thoughts----
Overall the game was great. There were a few glitches here and there, but that is every game. Just took a little bit to long to fix. I believe anyone who loved to play Temple Run would love this game. Anyways, thank you for reading and hope you enjoy.

Synopsis (Wikipedia)
NASCAR 08 is the eleventh installment of the EA Sports NASCAR series. It was developed by EA Tiburon and released for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This is the earliest that EA has released a NASCAR game. It also marks the first time the original Xbox has been excluded from the NASCAR lineup since NASCAR 2001.Tony Stewart is on the cover marking his third appearance on the cover of an EA Sports NASCAR game. The cover in the PAL region features Juan Pablo Montoya. NASCARs new Car of Tomorrow as well as the current car are present in the game, although the Car of Tomorrow is generic (no separate manufacturers). ESPN's NASCAR coverage is also integrated into the game. Crew chief dialogue for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game was recorded by Chad Knaus. The Whelen Modified Tour is not included in PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, but is still present in the PlayStation 2 version.
Gameplay [Single player]
The gameplay is quite realistic in NASCAR 08. Other cars react to your movements depending on which skill level you choose. Many of the features from NASCAR 08 introduce you to racing realism in gaming. You have the pit crew talking to you giving you tips and strategies throughout the race. The game includes lots of little features that make a big difference in realism. Some of those are drifting, car damage, debris on the track, and the fact that you run out of gas and need new tires sometime throughout the race. However, the game does become boring due to the fact that the shortest race length is around 6 minutes. If you were to race a full race it would take you around 94 minutes to finish. Going around in circles for 94 minutes isn't really appealing is it?
Graphics
The graphics of the race oriented features the "cars and track" are fairly well made for the time of release. The cars and logos are made wonderfully. You can see all of the logos and stickers on the cars around you while racing however, if you make rivals during the race you might trade some paint. But, on the other hand all of the other aspects of the game are poorly designed especially the crowd. I guess it really doesn't matter because everything is a blur at 195 MPH!
Controls
The controls are quite generic. Anybody could get used to them in a matter of minutes! But, if you are still having trouble with the default controls they have a menu where you can choose from 4 different pre-made configurations.

Synopsis (Wikipedia)
Black is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Criterion Games and published by EA. It was released on February 24, 2006 for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 video game consoles. The game is notable for its heavily stylized cinema-inspired action as well as its award winning sound quality and focus on destructive effects during gameplay. As a BLACK operative, you'll obey no laws, know no borders, kill without mercy, and live by the Five Rules of Guncraft.
1.GUNS ARE THE STARS
2.EVERY BULLET IS YOUR BABY
3.BIGGER GUNS,LOUDER EXPLOSIONS

Gameplay [Single player]
BLACK's gameplay is not as fast paced as it sounds. Actually BLACK is one of the slowest First Person Shooters I've ever played.Criterion Games while in development focused on the more cinematic qualities rather than focusing on simple but, vital properties that ruined the experience.BLACK was put together poorly...You can't even aim down the sights, sprint, or jump. This makes you quite slow while in a firefight. But,there is an ABUNDANCE of explosives so you will be just fine if you take a second and observe your surrounds before entering a engagement. During the short "Lifetime" of play you may encounter AI that don't react to you, dead bodies, or gunshots. On the other hand sometimes you will run into enemies that notice you before you enter a reasonable distance. This can sometimes get you into a sticky situation especially when you have limited ammo and the regular guard can take up to 10 rounds to kill.If you do die you may have to go back 10 minutes and replay that level because, you can't save on demand.
Graphics
The graphics in whole are fair. You can see blades of glass clearly and smoke from explosions. But, Due to all of the breakable and explosive items in the game you can see seams where objects can be broken .Since you can't sprint you will have plenty of time to admire all of the breakable object's seams. On the other hand the cut scenes are quite amazing. It's almost like watching a movie! The scenes are up to par with the most recent Call of duty and that's quite impressive for a game that is much older.
Controls
The default controls are rather hard to get used to, so they give you the option to re-map the whole controller with your own personal preferences.
Overall rating: 5.5/10
Buy this game if you only care about playing the game once, and like LOTS of explosions.

Slender
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Release Date: June 26, 2012
Developers: Parsec Productions
Publishers: Unity Pro
Platforms: PC, Mac
Genre: psychological horror/survival
Players: 1
Rating: NR
Synopsis
Slender is a first person horror game created by Parsec Productions where your only goal is to find 8 manuscripts about the Slender Man, a paranormal creature. The more directly you come in contact with the Slender Man, the faster your sanity drains.
Gameplay
(This game is one player only) The gameplay is pretty nerve-racking, you have to walk around in a dark, scary forest at night with just a flashlight running around collecting these little papers, at the same time trying not to encounter Slenderman. I don't really know the point to the game, as once you collect all 8 pages, the game doesn't end. All the while, whilst your capturing each page, Slendermans pursuit on you becomes more urgent as you continue to gain a page, making the chances of you encountering this creature higher.
Graphics
The graphics are really good, the game was made a few months ago, and it's on PC which is much better. Not much more I can say about this
Controls
The controls are really easy to get adjusted to, and they are posted on the games website, which i will provide a link to. It's got a Minecraft feel to it, control-wise. Look around with the mouse, walk with WASD, etc.
