I have a problem opening "absinthe", When I download it, then open it in winrar, then I double click on it and it opens a command window and says extracting a bunch of files, it finishes and nothing else opens up on my Laptop?

Any tips?

Edit: Never mind I got it, Just a tip for anyone else, Extract the program to your desktop and run it as admin and it should extract into a folder let it finish, open the folder and run the program <3

when u download it, open it in winrar WITHOUT extracting, then drag the absinthe icon from the winrar to your desktop and it should move it there.

I have another problem, When I try to restore/update my iPhone so that I can re-jail break it I get this error... "The iPhone "Willett's iPhone" cannot be updated at this time because the iPhone software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

Any tips?

did u enter DFU mode before trying to restore?

No, I just left my iPhone at the home screen, should I enter DFU mode first? Sorry I'm a nooby at this lol.

Edit 1:I just put my iPhone in DFU mode and I'm attempting to restore It, I'l update in a bit.

Whenever I try to jailbreak my iPod Touch 4G with Absinthe, it will get to the point where it says "waiting for process to complete" (or at least something very similar) and says "something went wrong.... Attempting to recover files" Then it says if I want to try again to unplug/replug the iDevice. Tried different ports and everything, but still won't work.

Actually, I did it on a restored iPod, so I reloaded everything on there through the backup I made, and it surprisingly worked with the iPod with everything on it.
