Hi i was wondering what the most powerful sniper in bf3 is? i have been playing some hardcore lately and i often get 2shot 1kill with M40A5... so i wa wondering whats the most powerful sniper that 1 shots more than other? Does sights and optic have an impact on the damage?

M98b is the strongest sniper. Optics don't make any gun stronger or weaker.

The M40A5 actually has a bigger bullet but the M98b can shoot alot farther, between the damage and Range, the two sniper rifles has the same exact damage.
So it really depends if your an assault sniper or a Stay back and snipe far range sniper.

I prefer the M40A5 Cuz like -Recony- said the damage is pretty much the same and the M40A5 is better at Medium Range Firing and is still good at long range

M4OA5 or M98b are the best
