It's a laptop so you have two options.
1. Use it less.
2. Put it on a cooling stand.

Is that really my only choices?

ok so,
you must have a fan right possibly on the right side well try to keep that off surfaces are you using it on your lap or at a table desk etc. if your using it on your lap and if its on the right side move the laptop along so all the way up to the end of the fan is hanging off the edge of your leg and do the same if the fan is on the other side

It was on my bed, what i've done it got a book and rested the back of my laptop on it so the fan on the left side of my laptop is in the air, the temperatures are now in the 40's , thank you. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

If you placing it on your lap, move it your legs / thighs are blocking the fans. Laptops are better and usually get cooler if you place them in a cold room, and on a desk where it can breath.
