This is really random, but I formatted an actual Hitachi HDD from an original Xbox 360 and when I go to put it into a 4GB slim, the slim does not see it at all. I have no idea why. Yes it's connected and yes I can feel the HDD turn on. This HDD works on the old phat models, but not the slims. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for the help....seriously I need to know why. I have heard that some 4GB systems won't read them.
