I just recently received a turtle beach ear force z2 for christmas and yesterday when i was using it no sound came out so i twisted the cables a bit and it worked again but now whenever the audio plug is fully inside the port any sound comes out either really quite or incredibly distorted i really need some help because these are almost brand new.

Take them back, sounds like a bad wire connection to me.

Yeah sounds like a loose wire, wired headphones are notorious for them, although it's strange that it happened so soon. Definitely take them back.

Judging by the fact you mentioned something about it being fully plugged in or not. I'm assuming there's also the possibility that your audio out is damaged or faulty. Try it out with a different headset. If it works, you should take back the TTB.
