If you noticed the United states just cancelled testing on the ALTB, the airborne laser test bed. It utilizes a free electron laser, and in its first test run, it successfully shot down a test missile. If we would make use of this technology we could really prevent some of the horrible things out there. I am sure that there is technology out there, that most americans don't know about, some things may be so classified that the president himself doesn't know about. I am confident in Americas ability to defend ourselves. However we (America) have so many enemies in the world, ie. North Korea, Japan, China, Russia, Pakistan. I am not saying that all of these countries are at severe relations with the U.S. however I do think that there is a war on the horizon. I do think that we have allies such as the UK and Canada as well as Mexico and a few others. Also no political leader is going to launch a nuclear weapon at the U.S. because we have early warning systems, also they would be destroyed too, due to the fact that we would surely launch a counterstrike before the missiles arrived. Also due to the problems in the middle east, we have missile defenses in Turkey. I also think that the next "World war" will be online, over the internet. There are already many hackers attacking U.S. businesses and town governments, if you look into it you would see that somebody using a Russian IP address unlocked a valve on a hydroelectric dam and caused thousands of dollars in damage, there is so much of this kind of stuff happening even in our own country. (Anonymous) If anything does happen we will know about it, all we can do is prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

They say they cancelled it in reality its done. You dumb*sses really think the u.s. will go public with secret weapons. I think not. China does not have the best military they have the most people do some research they are still using WWII to Cold War weaponry. Overall it will be a ground war no country is stupid enough to shoot a nuke and stsrt a global thermonuclear war. Honestly if there was a blip on our high *ss tech radars its getting blown to bits. We also have the best nukes maybe they are secret but russia may also have underground tech. We also have more allies including 25 off the most powerful countries all in the UN.
