One thing I would suggest is shopping on newegg.com instead of tigerdirect.com. Newegg usually has at least slightly better prices and great customer service and shipping.

It also confuses me that you would buy a 2TB HDD and then get an AMD CPU and MOBO. Intel is always better especially for gaming. Other than that it looks great.

If you are gaming you should get a higher Ghz processor and quad core

You must put into account that he has a tight budget and doesn't want to break the bank, Intel is better for gaming, but there's no reason for him to have a problem with AMD.

True, but why would he be getting a 2TB HDD then? I was suggesting that instead of getting an AMD CPU he could get a 500-1TB HDD instead and use the extra money for a 2500k.
