untethered, because if your iPod/iPhone is tethered, when ever it loses charge/dies/powersoff, you have to re jailbreak it, unthread mean, that your iDevices, is jailbroken forever, unless you upgrade/restore it.

Untethered is always the best option. Tethered jailbreaks can become aggravating if you tend to let your device die, or if you download many Cydia tweaks which some may require a reboot. Basically untethered allows you to reboot your device without the assistance of a computer as tethered does. You are still able able to restore with both tethered and untethered as well.

untethered because you can turn your iDivece on an off and have complete function. unlike tethered you can't turn it on and off. you just had to go to you computer and boot tethered.
