Unless somehow it gave you the right code .. And you happened to activate it just after someone bought a card with the exact same code somewhere. Thus giving you free Microsoft points.

I Also remember when people were doing that thing send this link to 30 people on x box live and when you get 30 hit to that link you will get a 4000 msp card sent to you in a message!
There was another one when people would say the same thing but this time you just had to wait 12 hour till you get the code lol i would be in a party and if it was no a scale of -/10 people 7/10 people would send the message and pray they got one at 12 hours from message sent time lol.
