There are many theories on what will happen if the poles will shift. No body knows what will happen. There a Theories that say our world is going to be fine. And there are theories saying that this is going to be an apocalyptic event.

But what the shift does exactly is this:
We have been having a grfadual pole shift for many years. Nothing much seems to happen as a result.

Pole shift does not cause the plane of rotation to change, only the magnetic polarity moves.
