You can only buy them via the auction house. A employee for Turn10 called phREDESIGN(may be the wrong name) puts unicorns cars up in the auction house. When in the auction house press RT and it should take you to where the unicorn cars are sold. Or you can find them via the search options.

The unicorn are not always there for sale. The guy puts them up every now or then so people can bid for them. They are quite hard to get.
