Bad side effects, are,

Nightmares, you can think about waking up in the LD, and easiest but longest way is method 2.

When I was around ten years old,(About 7 years ago ) I can remember falling asleep after being extremely tired. ( This was a school night so it wasn't like it was intentional.) I immediately was dreaming. I know I wasn't controlling the dream, because I didn't know it was a dream. The dream became a nightmare I'm not sure how but it woke me up. When it did, ( I can remember this vividly. ) I can remember hearing my radio, I know I was awake, but I couldn't move. I was still in this; sort of.. Sleep state, I started to panic but I couldn't move. When I managed to get out of this I remember screaming and breathing heavily. I didn't hallucinate, but its that kind of feeling when you can't move or being held down. You can't control it and cant call for help or anything. ( I know this sounds stupid ) But it's true I can never remember being this scared coming out of sleep. I'm assuming this is "sleep paralysis" now that I have been reading these things. I have lucid dreamed before more recently ( A couple of years ago ) But these were just natural ones I have NEVER forced myself to lucid dream ever since I had that experience when I was ten ( But like I said I didn't what was going on when I was that young.) Nor did I until I read this. If you don't believe having something terrifying happen to you, TRUST me its scary. I wouldn't suggest trying this, because you could screw it up and what happened to me could happen to you. But hey I'm not you, do what you want to do, its a free country.

P.S
Out of curiosity, has anyone else experienced this aswell? - Festival

everyone saying "im going to try it tonight, hopeit works", you do know that it takes months to perfect this skill unless your a natural so you have to learn the basics of lucid dreaming before you actually start trying todo it.
