Sorry, but your recommendations are all flawed. I'll try to keep this simple.

Beats are garbage, and much better headphones in every aspect are available at a fraction of the price.

Gaming headphones are inferior to "traditional" headphones for gaming. You can get much better performance out of cheaper headphones that are not specifically marketed for gaming. They simply have traits that make them excellent for gaming, such as soundstage, detail, comfort, etc. For music, they're absolutely garbage.

Skullcandy makes a few good headphones, but the Hesh is NOT one of them. Even the good headphones are outclassed by other offerings at lower prices, although they are still fairly competent.

Monster headphones will almost certainly follow the wrong path and end up being garbage like the Beats are/were. However, Monster does produce quality IEMs like the Turbines and MDTs.

I don't understand why we need another one of these threads, considering mine has nearly 21,000 views and over 1,200 posts.

Done and done. Starting to look better. Thank you for your opinion r00t_b33r And btw, never in the topic did I directly recommend any of these products so my "recommendations" are not flawed, they are choices for people. Also there is a review from a positive and a negative stand point so people won't feel so biased when choosing. Thanks again for caring though!

I'm sorry, but I've tried most of these and most of them are a huge waste of money. r00t_b33r kind of has a point. And it'd be nice if you wrote your own review about each headphone you recommend. Kind of like mine. Amazon reviews are basically worthless if you're looking for a review of actual sound quality, since many reviewers have no actual experience with nice headphones, so their perception is skewed.

The Beats (Maybe not the Pros if you buy them for $200 on Monster's outlet store), Skullcrushers, Heshes, Banshees, Electra, Megalodon, and Turtlebeaches are, frankly, all a waste of money. Gaming headphones really aren't what they're cracked up to be. I'd take a Sennheiser PC350 or AKG K601 every time over the recommended, and they're cheaper than a lot of the Turtle Beaches. Well the K601 only when bought used, but still. Dat soundstage!

However, the ones I do like a bit are the Aviators, SK Pro, and Carcharias (For $30, not retail).

But to go along with the thread title, I'll put in some pretty pictures of the headphones I'm planning on getting in the next few years.

Audio Technica W3000ANV (Tentative, because they sold out of these a while ago, so I'll need to buy a used one at an inflated price)

You can't diss the AT wing headband system. It's the comfiest thing ever.
