So I put in MW2, and it lets me get into a match and start playing. Then about 3 minutes or so into the game I get a "Disc read error"
I heard about this happening, I think.
Will IW replace it?
I know it's not my drive because every other game works fine.

If it only happens to MW2, then you need to get a new disc. Try cleaning it with Windex. It usually works. If not, then you'll have to buy another copy. Sorry

I think there is an error with reading your disc... . Lol jk but you might want to try cleaning it, if it doesnt work you can always get a copy from a friend, download to your hardrive, and put the broken disc in. As long as it can read that its that game, it will work even with the worst scratches. My CoD 5's inner circle on the disc disintegrated, and it still worked when I downloaded to hardrive. Hope this helps.

Well, I just looked at it and I put it in the light and there is a big f*cking round scratch on it, like my xbox was moved when it was in there spinning.
But the thing is, it wasn't. And I always take it out and put it in it's case.
It's never been just set down or anything /:
My friend works at Hollywood Video and he said he could get it repaired or whatever they do, but he said it only works sometimes.
I don't have $60 to buy another one ;)
Thanks for the feedback though, quick too.

Umm like i said, get a copy from a friend, download to hardrive, and your all set. My friend tipped his xbox over and grinded up his MW2. He bought a new hardrive (since he only had a memory card) and downloaded my game onto his hardrive. I don't think he has had any problems since.

Here are the steps.
Go to Game Library.
Select MW2.
Push Save to Hard Drive.
After It will download the game into your hard drive.
Then click play from hard drive.
(you must have the disc in)
After you do that whenever you play just put the game in and it should run normally.
