dosent really seem like a logo to me. logos should be nice,simple, and creativity and it looks to me you have none of that

This is more of a banner.
For a good logo you want it to distinguish itself from others meaning it is different from the rest. You want it to have meaningful colours so it associates to what you want it for. An appropriate font would be useful but remember to make sure it associates with meaning of the logo. Simple but yet effective are always appreciated and most of the time catch the viewers attention.
Most of all you want the logo to make a statement of what the idea behind it is all about.
Those are a few tips from me.

it's about 7 months old now (Atleast), but this was a logo i used to use. Yours is an avatar. Theres a difference.

i suggest using colors that support/ have meaning towards what the logo is for, not random and common colors. also, use a different font.
