Xelev wrote Below-average, you can't do much when you only do mainly TTG stuff.

I agree, but this is a gaming site and there are rules to follow, that's why I use these designs on ttg, my normal work is not suited for this site sort of speak ;)

These are good for people on TTG.
After done with this shop you should try extending your ability.
Maybe try doing some forum signatures just do other creative stuff.
But I see you've done a lot of stuff for the people of TTG, So I'm gonna give you this.

If that's what the user requests, that's what the user gets ;)
I don't think they ask for, "Make me an avatar but make sure there are strokes on everything"

That's why I'm here for, strictly TTG requests. Not here to promote my ''off'' TTG work. Since there are rules I've got to follow. ;)

Haha, appreciate it brother

I wont give you a vouch,
I can't give my respect to someone who uses brushes to cut away from rounded rectangles then put a stroke on it.

I hate polls like yours also, I wouldn't say get a new hobby I'd say get a new style.

Here's why you shouldn't use strokes:
Strokes on Photoshop are poor quality even on high DPI documents with no anti-aliasing capabilities. Hopefully they'll fix that on CS6 but it hasn't been fixed for most generations of Photoshop so it seems unlikely.

So basically, strokes are putting your work down.

Furthermore your gradients of OTT as well as using over used patterns so while I like that you've developed your own style from existing stuff it's still not your style, there's a lack of work in it.

I do like them though, they're comedic.

EDIT:
I take back what I say about gradients, that's a completely subjective viewpoint, gradients like them can look good and you've made them look good in quite a lot of the examples.

@Concept:

Finally, some honest feedback here,

Agree on most of the things u've pointed out,
but keep in mind that all designs on TTG need to be suitable for all ages ;)

I've choose to stick with this style since it suits the age range 'round here well enough and as long as people request them, I will keep makin' them.

Thanks for the lovely feedback, will keep it in mind ;)

peace.

Unless your adding overused hot girls in your designs, it's suitable for all ages. Young people like good graphics too.
