Your Probably Connecting To A Router That Is Not In Your Possession Or Is To Low Of A Signal Strength.

Im pretty sure you don't need to bridge. Just right click on your wireless connection (same as step 4,your PC connection) go to Properties, sharing tab, and check "Allow other users to connect to this network"
Plug ethernet into your PC and Xbox and play.

Actually Bridging is a more stable connection!
