I personally think a higher power makes no sense at all. God? No, not possible.
I come from a religious family and I'm the only one who is Atheist in the family as far as I know.

I don't know where we came from, or what happens after we die? I don't care, personally. I guess I'll figure it out when I'm dead.

Anyway, what do you think?
Do you believe in God?

Well how is it not possible? It just makes sense, even though it doesn't. That is why it is called "faith". We as humans cannot possible conceive and understand how something has always been, always is, and always will be. It doesn't make "sense" to us because we live in a finite universe. Everything we see and hear has a precise beginning and end, as well as a confined space in which it resides. We have a hard time understanding anything outside that juristiction. An example is energy. There is still a lot we do not understand about energy because we can't "see" it for the most part. The same is with almost every discovery we make(which in part is why physics is a hard subject to understand). God isn't finite. He isn't confined to a space or area. He isn't confined to time, or any of the physics we know. He is everywhere and anywhere at all times. He doesn't worry about time because he is timeless. That explains to me how his existence "makes sence"

I would explain more, but I don't want a mega post to take up your thread :p
I have a lot to talk about.. I most post more later.

IF there is a God, how was HE created? Don't say - he's just there. That makes no sense. The bible? Clearly some people came together, probably the first people that actually thought of a higher power, and made the book. Called him God, and made up a bullsh!t story about him saying 'let there be light.'
No.
It's not real.

My parents attempted to raise me as a Catholic, but I'm very logical and could not accept what they were trying to feed me. I have no problem with religions; I go to a Lutheran-based college. I'm fine as long as nobody tries to force their beliefs on me, and I don't force mine on them as well.
