i bought a 20 pack of DVD+R DL 8.5GB 2.4X. and tried using them and not one of them worked,
i have bought this product in the past and used them with no problem.
i suggest looking in to it as it may be a bad batch. i
bought them at office max here in kerrville, texas for 39.99 + tax and now
all i have is 20 beer coasters! please fix this problem so i dont have to
switch to another brand. thanx matt f.

To resolve this issue please follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Please try to update the firmware on the recorder.
Step 2: If the first step doesn't work then please trying using it on a
different recorder. If it works then please contact your system vendor get
the recorder checked.
If the above steps doesn't work then the DVDs are defective and needs to be
replaced.
Please contact us with the following information for replacement:
Full name
Shipping address
Telephone number & email address
Product Model Number.
Note: If the product is less than 30 days of purchase, then we request you
to return the product to the store and get it exchanged.
Please make note of Case# *****.
If you need any further assistance please call us on: 646-537-3411 and we
will be happy to assist you.

There is nothing wrong with my recorder I made 10 good burns today with memorex dvd+r dl's. so here is my info for replacment...

no you can use any DL disc but verbatim is the best quality.
