The guide to having the most enjoyable clan for you on Mw2 ! !

This tutorial is based off of personal experience. I've been on both sides. The one looking for a clan, and the one recruiting.

Looking for a clan?
What to do if your looking for a clan.

Basically there are 4 things you need to ask yourself if your looking for a clan.

1.What kind of clan are you looking for? Example: Modding, GB, Quick Scoping, Jtaggers. Whatever.
2.Are you looking for a well known clan, new clan or just a low key one?
3.The people in the clan. Could you see yourself playing with them? Or even getting along?
4.One of the most important things, can you see yourself being satisfied and benefitting from the clan.

So now that you have your 4 base questions answered, make sure EVERYONE of these meets your criteria before trying out or asking to join.

There are many other things you will need to ask yourself before joining the clan as in.
*Am I willing to change my Gamer Tag.
*Will i devote enough time to this clan to actually have fun and get to know everyone.
*Are these people competitive enough.
*Do they have a high enough GB rank.
*Do I match their skill level.
*Will I leave the clan within a week.
*Will I get kicked out of the clan within a week.
*Do they have a website.
*Are they sponsored.
*Are there enough of the same people as me in the clan.
*Are they to amateur for me.
*Do they take gaming to serious.
*Instead of modding are they hacking.
*Instead of Jtagging they mod gamertag's.
*Do I have to donate to the clan and am i willing. Example: Microsoft points, Money for website maintenance .
*Am I not on enough.

THE DO'S: All those are great things to ask yourself before getting to involved with a clan. Make sure over 3/4 of the things on the list meet your standards. But most of all, enjoy the people your playing with and make sure they have the same skill level as you.

THE DONT'S: Don't get fooled into joining a clan though that is using you. As in you have a Jtag and host lobbies and the clan says, "We need a modder, we'll get you paying people if you do this for us." Then all they do is join the lobbies and outside of that you never play with them. Another example would be Graphics or a Website. They say "We need a site. If you build us one you can be in the clan.

I promise if you follow all these steps, you will find the most enjoyable clan on Mw2 that fit your needs.

Looking to start a Clan.
So you want to start a clan.

Starting a Clan can sometimes be tough. Either you can't find enough people to join, people aren't devoted enough or flat out, you don't know where to start.

What you need to do to get a solid foundation for a fun and successful clan.
1.Make sure you have a good friend as your co-host. Someone you get along with, you can play with, they match you skill level and so on.
2.Get a good name for a clan. Brain storm. Don't just pick one to hurry up and start recruiting. A good name can take you a far way.
3.Put great detail into the specifics on what you want the clan to do. Modding Gamer Tag's, Modding Gamer Score, Quick scoping, Sniping, Jtagging CoD5. All that.
4.Get a GB. Having a GB BEFORE the clan starts is a key to getting good players.
5.Create a Web Site. Having a site to back you up and show people who ask what you do, really shows off that you guys are legit.
6.Get a good Graphic that you can post on your GB. Make it so people remember.

THE DO'S: Ask around before you start your clan to find any similar clans. See if they want to merge with you and a couple of your friends. Tell them you guys were a Group of players and not a Clan. Honesty's the best way to get your way! Have everything planned out. Before you EVEN THINK about putting out an application or getting players for your clan, get all your stuff as if you've had this clan for months already. Get a site to back you up and show your legit. Get .com I have to say .webs is kind of lame haha.

THE DONT'S: The one huge thing you can NEVER do if your looking for people to join your clan is post on a site, "Starting a clan. Need members." I GUARANTEE 99.99% those clans will fail. Instead put "TTG CLAN RECRUITING NOW. NEED ________ MEMBERS" You will have way more people join than the other one.

And again I guarantee if you follow these steps, you will start a fun and successful clan.

Recruiting for a Clan
This is the easy part.

Getting new members for a clan is straight forward and doesn't require much effort. Remember, Quality over Quantity is MUCH better than Quantity over Quality. It's very easy to pick those few Quality members for your clan.
1.Never get people that say they just want to be in a clan. Don't accept people that just want a name to rep and have the same Gamer Tag as you.
2.WATCH OUT FOR LEACHERS. The people that ONLY want in the modding clan to get in a free lobby then you never hear from them again.
3.Make people back up what they say. Example: "Them: Ya I have a Jtag. You:What kind? Them:Xenon You:Ok, you're in!" That's a BIG no no. Make them host you a lobby, or make them make a video of there Jtag booting up. SOMETHING!!
4.Put out a good application. I'll list options for your app below.
5.Put specifics on what kind of members you want for your clan.

*Have a high GB rank.
*Can beat me in a 1v1 quick scoping
*Can host a lobby on point if I send you a KV
*Are good at modding Gamer Score
*Can mod other games just besides Mw2
*Have been in a clan before.

Put stuff like that in a post for good quality members.

Stuff you can put on an app.

Name:
Age:
Timezone:
GB Rank:
1v1 Record:
K/D:
Prestige:
Accuracy:
What you will offer the Clan:
Why you want to be in the Clan:
Favorite Gun:
How often are you on Mw2:
Jtag:
Transfer Cable:
What kind of computer:
Headset:
Rapid Fire Controller:
Connection Speed:
HD or AV:
Squeaky Voice (haha):
Website Production:
Gfx Talent:
How many lobbies hosted:
Do you charge:
Can you beat OpTic Predator:
Do you have a criminal record:

THE DO'S: Don't put on your post what you want the application to be filled out as. They'll lie and put on the app what you want to see. Make sure they meet the standard of at least 3/4 of what was on the app. If your starting a quick scoping clan. ALWAYS try the person out.

THE DONT'S: Never take anyone just off trust. People will ALWAYS lie to get what they want. That includes getting in a clan. Always remember, "Quality over Quantity". Don't ever get rid of of old clan members 'cause your sick of them or want new people. Don't ever accept anyone to try to get closer to another person.

Well I guarantee you if you read the section you needed to read and you follow each one of those steps, you will 100% sure find the PERFECT clan for you. If you have ANY questions, hit me up. I'm always here to answer ANYTHING you ask me about this tutorial.

Hope this helps!
