JoshOffTheWall wrotehippie wrote It is clearly stated in the ToS that you agree to abide my the law of a set area. NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE. When you sign on you agree all online interactions are governed by the laws of THAT area not yours. Also you get banned for breaking the ToS you agreed to my signing onto XBL. It clearly states you forfeit any and all rights to sue them if you get banned as you agreed to the ToS to NOT break the set guidelines. If you get banned move on.
Thank you

Ironicly i am studyin Business Studies in my Final year of school and know the Data Protection Act pretty well.
As Nasha stated above, if a company/entity holds information about you, they are legally obliged to
A) Remove that information at your request, because the government is the only entity allowed to have your information without you being able to remove it.
B)They are also obliged to change the data if it is incorrect.
There are much more obligations but they dont necessarily apply to xbox bans. None the less if one f these is broken by the data controller(AKA microsoft) then you can bring your case to the small claims court (as previously stated by Nasha)
