Hey guys with the Super Bowl having been played already it officially ended the 2011 NFL season now it's time to look ahead to the offseason and the 2012 season. So for lack of a more creative name at this point ill be making some threads under the the title of "NFL News" and each part will focus on a certain topic, for instance this topic will focus on a few teams that will go into the season next year as an underrated team just like the 49'ers were this year. I hope you guys enjoy this then ill make more to come.

This year was a great one for the NFL and next year it will be even better so let's take a look at some of the "Under the Radar Teams" going into next year.

*1*
St.Louis Rams

The first team and most qualified team on this list is the St.Louis Rams. After coming within one game of reaching the playoffs in Sam Bradford's rookie season two years back the Rams struggled greatly this past year and Sam Bradford did not look like the great rookie he was at all. With that said i think the Rams are in a great position to make a comeback. New coach Jeff Fisher will is a great addition and with there 2nd overall pick in the draft they have a great chance to draft a playmaker. Assuming they trade down a few spots to maybe the Redskins or the Browns the Rams will might be able to snag Justin Blackmon and an o-lineman in the first round addressing to major needs on offense. Sam Bradford literally had no weapons last year and adding Blackmon flips that right around. Also adding an o-lineman is necessary because well Bradford is a very expensive player. Defensively the Rams have a decent squad on the field and can improve through free agency. The Rams will be a contender in the NFC West next year and if Steven Jackson plays like he did this year they will be able to take on the 49'ers for the division title.

*2*
Tennessee Titans

For some reason people seemed to forget about the Titans despite their tremendous success last year. The Colts were irrelevant last year and people thought that the Texans were going to be the only team to contend, but i disagree. So for next season look for the Titans to battle with the Texans atop the AFC South. Jake Locker looks like he's going to have a lot of success in the next level and learning from Matt Hassleback is a good mentor. With a healthy receiver core the Titans should give some competition to their opponents. Also the Titans may go with defense in the draft which could only help, the only problem looking ahead would be if they lose a lot of players through free agency but hopefully they'll be able to keep most of their players and make an impact in the 2012 season.

*3*
Kansas City Chiefs

Similar to the Rams the Chiefs had a great 2010 outing and a not so nice 2011 season. With new head coach Romeo Crennel Kansas City should have some success in the always open AFC West. A healthy Matt Cassell will also help out their cause. The chiefs also have a nice draft pick where they will be able to snag a top o-lineman or maybe get Trent Richardson. With Jamaal Charles coming back a big factor on offense would be to keep Dwayne Bowe from testing Free Agency. The Chiefs have an excellent defense with a great line good linebacker core and with Eric Berry a super secondary. The chiefs have what it takes talent-wise they just need the right coaching to put them in the right direction so hopefully Crennel will be able to do that for them.
